If you have ever found yourself daydreaming about life aboard a cruise ship, sailing the vast blue seas, sipping on a tropical drink, you are not alone. However, the reality of cruise lines is nothing like you see in the ads: overcrowded boats, small cabins, terrible food and basically a cesspool of germs.

If you are like me, you stay away from real cruises at all costs. I do love the allure of a cruise and all the colors associated with the ocean, so it is was nice to sit down to review the online version of the cruise line, Casino Cruise. So why don't you let me be your Captain for this cruise through a full review of what you can expect when you take to the online seas (and yes, you should expect a lot of nautical-themed jokes in here).

Casino Cruise Review Casino Cruise is arguably the jewel in the crown of the Genesis Global Limited casinos. It was founded in 2014 and it is unapologetically focused on providing new and seasoned players with unparalleled gambling experience. Casino Cruise Review What pleasant and unforgettable feelings are those that a player experiences while playing in a casino! However, sometimes they cannot be tested due to various circumstances. For those who do not have time, the opportunity to visit the ground-based game halls, but have a great desire to play, online institutions were. Casino Cruise App: Many Different Slots. Across the industry as a whole, mobile casino apps are becoming increasingly important for players. The Casino Cruise app offers more games than many offer on their website, with well over 350 titles to choose from including the best games from NetEnt, Microgaming, Play ‘N Go, Thunderkick, NextGen.

About Casino Cruise

Casino Cruise, unlike so many online operators, is attempting to run their business as above board as possible. In that light, they have a gaming license from Malta which is one of the more notable licensing jurisdictions around. They also have an address posted on their website, which we have to assume is a legitimate location in Malta. Furthermore, they have a UK Gaming Commission license, allowing them not only to take action from British players but also giving them access to a whole host of banking options for their players.

The casino seems to have been in operation since 2014 and is owned by a company called Genesis Global Ltd. They appear to have another casino owned by this group called Spinit Casino, which we will review at a later date.

Who's Restricted from Playing at Casino Cruise

Given the desire of Casino Cruise to be a legitimate online casino business, and understanding what is required of casinos to receive licensing in Malta and the UK, it is not shocking to note that Americans are not allowed to play here. Don't worry, U.S. players, I have reviewed loads of casino options available to you, but in the case of this lovely cruise-themed operator, you are lost at sea.

The list of countries that are restricted from play at Casino Cruise is short, but as always it can be modified at any time. Here are the countries prohibited from playing:

  • France
  • Israel
  • U.S.A.
  • Spain

Software Suppliers

Victory casino cruise reviews

When I review a casino, the first thing I look for is which software is being used. On most occasions, it is easy to spot the one software being utilized by the operator. Sometimes I can be surprised to find a second or maybe even a third software being employed. Imagine my SHOCK when I went to the homepage of Casino Cruise and found no less than SIX software supplier logos.

This can only mean good things for players, as the casino is striving to find a game or slot machine for everyone who comes to their site. Not only that, Casino Cruise has created partnerships with some of the largest, most reputable firms in the industry. Here are the companies that Casino Cruise currently uses to provide games for you:

  • Net Ent
  • Microgaming
  • Evolution Gaming (Live Dealer)
  • NYX Interactive
  • Play N' Go
  • Lucky Streak

The Good Stuff

Comp Program

I like a comp program that doesn't require you to pull out navigation tools to chart your course, and Casino Cruise hits the mark here for sure. Not only is their comp program easy to understand, but they also are not hiding it anywhere. It is listed right on their main website pages. Here is how the Comp program works at Casino Cruise:
Play any of your favorite games at Casino Cruise and earn points. Every 100 points earned = $/€/£ 1!

Alternate player for twitch tv. Bets needed to earn 1 cash point: slots $/€/£ 10, Classic slots $/€/£ 15, Table $/€/£ 50, Live Dealer $/€/£ 50. Some games might require higher bet for point accumulation or will be excluded from the Cash points plan.

The minimum amount of points needed to convert to cash is 1,000.

Jackpots

I can't say that I am a huge fan of slot machines. While I do like all the different themes that are now available and the second screen bonus games that make the game even more intriguing, I find myself moving right to table games when I hit a casino lobby.

Casino Cruise makes that decision tough for me as they offer some amazing jackpot slots. Being a licensee of some of the largest software vendors in the world gives Casino Cruise access to a couple of the biggest network progressive jackpots on the market. At the time of this review, one of these jackpots was north of $1,000,000, and another was closing in on that number. Add in a few other prizes smaller by comparison, and I found myself clicking away trying to bring home the major winnings!

The Bad Stuff

Payout Complaints

Checking around to all the different online casino forums, I did notice a significant number of complaints from players regarding their payouts. While many of these complaints can be a result of people not understanding the rules, I did notice a lot of slow-play issues and many problems with the maximum bonus amounts available for withdrawal.

Thankfully, I do see that a lot of the problems were resolved at some point by the customer service team from Casino Cruise. That gives me hope that these are only minor issues, but it is still something I will continue to monitor, and I will update this review whenever I see anything that our readers should be made aware of.

Live Chat isn't 24/7

This one kind of bugs me. Casino Cruise claims that they have 24/7 customer service including live chat. I am not sure if that is meant to confuse people by way of terminology, but when I tried to contact someone through live chat, it said that the feature was unavailable. Now, maybe they were upgrading software or many there weren't enough agents available, but it did leave me with a bit of an icky feeling about the way their customer service was promoted.

The Ugly Stuff

Bonus Clearing T&C

When you make a deposit and use a bonus code at a casino, you usually get some bonus cash which you need to wager through a minimum number of times. A casino may place certain restrictions on qualifying games, or weight play on slots higher than table games, but in the case of Casino Cruise, they seem just to want to choke you out right from the start.

There is a frightening number of T&C when it comes to bonus clearing at Casino Cruise, and some of them are so detailed that even the brightest of us can't make heads or tails of them.

Here is just one example:

Usa casino bonus codes. 'In order to fulfill the wagering requirement, you cannot place a wager which (i) for slots and video slots – is more than (€/$5); for any other currency, you cannot place a bet which is more than the equivalent to 5 USD; and (ii) for any other game – is more than (€/$30); for any other currency, you cannot place a bet which is more than the equivalent to 30 USD. This rule also applies when using any double up/gamble feature in any game. In case of a breach of this rule, you agree that your Bonus Balance will be forfeited, apart from the original deposit amount, to the extent that it was not wagered and lost less 10% administrative fees and bank charges.'

Look, if you are going to make it harder to earn bonuses than an MBA, you are going to turn players off, and that usually leads to a flood of players leaving the casino (see what I did there?). While I understand that to avoid bonus whores, certain restrictions must be in place, but the rigidity of the terms and conditions at Casino Cruise is insane and is clearly causing havoc with their players. To avoid a mutiny, I am hopeful that Casino Cruise will adjust these rules.

Game Selection

As I mentioned earlier, players at Casino Cruise are in for a real treat, as the casino has licensed software from multiple suppliers, including some of the best in the industry. This means that not only is there a lot of content to choose from, but there is no shortage of different themes and gameplay styles. I personally think it is important to give all casino players the maximum amount of differentiators so that each time you log in, you aren't just going through the motions. Let's look at the different games available at Casino Cruise:

Live Dealer Games

If you have read any of my reviews in the past, you will know that I LOVE Live Dealer games. Watching beautiful women spin the roulette wheel or deal my cards in blackjack makes the casino feel warmer to me, and I am definitely going to make my session longer when it isn't just me against the computer.

Casino Cruise agrees with me on this point. They offer all the major table games via Live Dealer, once I got to the tables, I was very pleased with the speed of the games themselves. There are over 25 different game types available in their live casino lobby. Here are the games that they spread with live dealers:

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel
  • Caribbean Stud
  • Casino Hold'em
  • Ultimate Texas Hold'em
  • 3 Card Poker

Table Games

Table games players are going to be thrilled by the selection of games at Casino Cruise. The navigation is a bit cumbersome and confusing at times (they have a tab labeled Blackjack Games that also includes most of the other table games). Aside from that, the casino takes advantage of its partnerships to bring loads of fun titles to the lobby. Their table games include:

  • American Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Baccarat
  • Beat Me
  • Cyber Stud Poker
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • Atlantic City Blackjack Gold

Video Poker

Video Poker is my favorite game to play in a casino; I like the speed of the game compared to playing at a regular cash game poker table. I also like that I am forced to play draw poker which is something you rarely see spread these days in a live casino.

Casino Cruise does offer video poker in its lobby, but it is surprising to see that they don't offer nearly as many options as other casinos where I have played. My assumption here is that video poker isn't as popular in Europe as it is in North America, and for that reason, the games are limited to single hand and 5 hand versions. Don't be discouraged, you can still find some good games here, and I found the games to have excellent graphics and speed. Here are a few of the more popular titles in the lobby:

  • Jackpot Poker
  • Aces and Eights
  • Joker Poker
  • Jacks Or Better
  • Deuces Wild

Slot Machines

The slot machine catalog at Casino Cruise is honestly one of the best I have ever seen at an online casino. This is clearly as a result of having relationships with casino software giants like Microgaming and Net Ent; these licenses do not come cheap, so I am impressed with the total volume of games they have available. We already spoke about the fact that as a player at Casino Cruise you get access to the network progressive jackpots games, which at the time of this review totaled almost 2 million dollars. There are too many games to list them all here, so let me just give you a summary of some of my favorite and the most popular slots you will find in the Casino Cruise lobby:

  • Batman
  • Battlestar Galactica
  • Bridesmaids
  • Bridezilla
  • Creature From The Black Lagoon
  • Drone Wars
  • Game Of Thrones 15-Lines
  • Game Of Thrones 243-Ways
  • Girls With Guns
  • Green Lantern
  • James Dean (Nextgen)
  • Jurassic Park
  • Mega Fortune
  • Mega Moolah
  • Motorhead
  • Pirates Gold Deluxe
  • Ragnarok
  • Reel Thunder
  • Spin Party
  • Superman
  • Tarzan
  • Terminator 2
  • The Osbournes
  • The Ratpack
  • The Super Eighties
  • Thunderstruck
  • Tomb Raider
  • Tomb Raider 2
  • Treasure Island
  • Vinyl Countdown
  • Warlords Crystals Of Power
  • Wild Witches
  • Wonder Woman
  • Zombies

Promotions

Casino Cruise offers its players two types of promotions: a Welcome Bonus and a series of ongoing promotions. Be sure to read through the terms and conditions for all promotions. Let's have a look as some of them here:

Welcome Bonus

The Welcome Bonus at Casino Cruise is similar to other casinos; a bonus split over a series of initial deposits, with a maximum bonus amount relative to your deposit. Here's how the split works at Casino Cruise:

  • 1st Deposit: 100% Bonus to $200 + 200 Free Spins
  • 2nd Deposit: 50% to $200
  • 3rd Deposit: 25% to $300
  • 4th Deposit: 25% to $300

I like this modest level of deposit bonuses; the casino isn't trying to fool you with crazy percentages or maximums that you aren't ever going to be able to reach. One thing to take note of with regards to the Free Spins is that they are given to you in batches of 20 on a daily basis for the 10 consecutive days after your first deposit, and they expire after 24 hours.

Unlike most promotions that require a certain amount of play and then winning a leaderboard, this promotion is dead simple. All you have to do to qualify is register for the promotion with your email (yes, even though you already have entered your email to create an account) and then you receive a ticket for a random draw for every $50 you deposit! Don't want to go on the cruise if you are the lucky winner? No problem – the casino will give you a cash prize of $2,000 instead.

Banking

Wow. Bad luck numbers in japan. Normally when I write a banking section for a review, it is short and sweet: not many options on either the deposit or withdrawal side. This is definitely very different at Casino Cruise. With a focus on the European market, the casino has gone above and beyond to provide its players with as many payment options as possible, as can be seen in the lists below:

Deposit Methods

  • Abaqoos
  • AGMO
  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • Boleto
  • CartaSi
  • Dankort
  • DineroMail
  • Diners Club International
  • dotpay
  • EC-ELV
  • EcoPay
  • eKonto
  • eNETS
  • Entropay

  • iDEAL
  • instaDebit
  • Instant Bank

  • Lobanet
  • Maestro
  • MasterCard
  • Moneta
  • Multibanco
  • Neosurf
  • Neteller
  • Nordea
  • Online Bank Transfer
  • Postepay (by Skrill)
  • Przelewy24
  • QIWI
  • Skrill
  • Skrill 1-Tap
  • Sofortuberwaisung
  • Solo
  • Swedbank
  • Switch
  • Teleingreso
  • Todito Cash
  • Trustly
  • TrustPay
  • u net
  • Visa
  • Visa Debit
  • Visa Electron
  • WebMoney

Withdrawal Methods

  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • CartaSi
  • Dankort
  • Diners Club International
  • EC-ELV
  • EcoPayz
  • eNETS
  • Entropay
  • Euro6000
  • instaDebit
  • Laser
  • Moneta.ru
  • Neteller
  • Postepay
  • Skrill
  • Visa
  • Visa Debit
  • Visa Electron
  • WebMoney

While that is a lot of methods, many of them are restricted to the country in which you are registered. Thankfully, if you click on the Payments tab of the website, an easy-to-read box opens with all the local options available.

Now, let's get to the way more important part of the banking piece: Casino Cruise doesn't charge you for withdrawing your money!!!!! You are reading that correctly; the casino does not charge a fee for you to take your winnings with you. This is entirely refreshing from a player perspective. Now, there are maximum amounts you can withdraw each week, and the casino does say that your payment processor may have a fee associated with withdrawals, but for sure that is going to be much less than the $30-50 that we see at other casinos. Well done, Casino Cruise!!

VIP Program

Earlier in our review, we discussed how the comp program works at Casino Cruise. On top of that, the casino also offers a full VIP program to all of its players, which seems a little more subjective than the standard terms of the cashback program.

The Casino Cruise VIP Program, known as the Captain's Club includes three levels. Here is an outline of what each level can receive:

Deluxe Suite – 25% Extra

Here you will enjoy many premium features such as

  • personalized email support and customer service
  • exclusive weekend promotions
  • birthday bonuses
  • anniversary gifts
  • up to 12-hour response time

Royal Suite – 50% extra

Once part of our Royal Suite, you will

  • be invited to exclusive VIP events
  • receive your own personal VIP account manager
  • receive personal gifts
  • access to higher withdrawal amounts than other VIP suites.

President Suite – 100% extra

Here you will enjoy not only all our Deluxe Suite offers and much more including:

  • a welcome gift
  • express withdrawals
  • personal cashback offers
  • bonus structures tailored to your needs

Now there isn't really any detail on what the percent extra is referring to, nor how to qualify for each of the Suite levels, but at least their rewards are plainly described!

Customer Service

Casino Cruise offers customer service options 24/7, which include the following:

  • Email
  • Live Chat (not apparently open 24/7)
  • Telephone

I tested the local number for Canadian players, and it most definitely worked! No doubt the agent on the other end of the phone was thrilled to find out that I didn't have anything to ask or complain about, and that I was just testing the validity of the number itself.

Would I Play at Casino Cruise?

With a resounding 'ALL ABOARD!' I would definitely recommend giving Casino Cruise a shot. I love the sheer number of games available to players for PC and for mobile devices, and I can deal with some of the crazy bonus terms and the sometimes slow payments. Overall, having licenses across Europe and the UK makes these folks not only legit but held to a higher standard than so many other operators on the online casino horizon.

Plus, who doesn't love the opportunity to us so many nautical-themed puns in a review of an online casino? No lifejackets needed here, just come aboard and enjoy the entertainment Casino Cruise…hopefully your tour will be longer than three hours!

(Ok, I am done. Seriously.)
